I love meeting people, hearing their story and understanding what has brought them to the threshold of marriage; as it is deeply personal and particular for each couple.
I spend time getting to know you and work with you to create a bespoke ceremony that speaks to your love, who you are and why you are making the commitment you are making, in the way you want to make it.
I believe we are hungry for ritual and ceremony in our culture and a good wedding can be just the thing to satiate!
I have married people in community halls under coloured streamers with bush dancing, family and friends, I have married couples who wanted to elope on a cliffside by the sea with their best friends as witnesses, I have had opera singers, rambling musicians and poets open ceremony, stood by a meandering river cleansed and blessed by fire and smoke, I have married people under stars, sky, old trees, in backyards, on the beach and in reverent spaces. The possibilities are endless, with the ceremony reflecting your story, love and who you are. What a honour to be a part of these joyous celebrations, both large and intimate.
Standing in front of another, alongside your family, friends and community to declare your love is a big bold beautiful thing, full of courage and vulnerability. It is a joy to bear witness and to be a part of this.
