bard | noun
a poet, storyteller, one who writes impassioned, lyrical or epic verse. Celtic composers of eulogy and satire, laments for the dead, elegy. A singing bird, to raise voice, praise maker, calls praise, one who sings back what the earth whispers and roars.

Lewry derives from the Gaelic word "labhraidh" meaning "the spokesman”. The Lewry coat of arms is a cut tree stump, sprouting fresh, green shoots. The motto which accompanies the coat of arms is ‘Repullant’ which translates to ‘it buds a fresh’.
